Who am I?

I am a dedicated Psychologist & Psychotherapist with a profound commitment to serving vulnerable populations, particularly individuals grappling with trauma. Throughout my career, I have witnessed the impact of trauma on individuals’ levels of trust, relationships with others, their view of themselves, and the meaning they find in life. In the crucible of Lebanon’s conflicted landscape, I have not only honed my professional expertise but also cultivated a profound empathy, born from my own lived experiences. Amidst the echoes of trauma that reverberate through my homeland, I have developed a deep understanding of the human condition in times of adversity.

My Approach

I embrace a holistic perspective that integrates both top-down and bottom-up approaches to support individuals on their journey towards growth and self-discovery. Drawing from my training in existential analysis, I approach therapy as a dialogical and interpersonal process, recognizing the significance of existential themes such as authenticity, meaning, freedom, and responsibility in shaping one’s life. At the same time, I incorporate insights from various disciplines, including polyvagal theory and somatic practices such as Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE). This blend of approaches allows me to address not only the cognitive and emotional aspects but also the embodied experiences of my clients, acknowledging the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit.
